Balm for your RFID Paranoia
For some reason the concept of RFID tags scares me. Maybe it is something that came from finding aspects of George Orwell’s 1984 possible. It seems that it isn’t coming about through government but through businesses trying to extract as much capital from their “customers” as possible. I was glad to see this article come up on digg today. I’m not real concerned about how the technology is being used at this point, but feel concern for the possibilities of tracking individuals to their detriment.
